Welcome to Me, Myself & Ela.
Thank you for stopping by in my humble corner.
Most of the photographs you find here are not mine, but they are chosen in hope that they will awaken new feelings in you.
I mostly post my poetry, but I also quote many wonderful poets, share simple thoughts about life or music. I invite you to read, listen, see, contemplate and feel. Enjoy your journey through my space and remember: a life without feelings is no living at all.

that must be you at the bottom of the spiral staircase…

If we consider the staircase as thoughts and me as soul, yes, that’s me…

but that begs the question, mainly do you like getting silence from people very important to you in life?

I respect their silence, even if it hurts. do you understand this?

People need sometimes silence. for many reasons.

no i disagree with that. ‘Silence like a cancer grows’ to quote Paul Simon – it is very bad for the soul.

no, no, no… silence can only be like a cancer when it means separation. but it can also mean many other things: a need to find balance, a need to meditate, to pray, to find claer answers… Silence was for me not an enemy, but a great teacher. Silence is a virtue, one of the virtues of monks and saints…

I unequivocally stand by my statement.

I have learned, and it was not easy, to give space and allow silence. And that because I love more than I love myself. Yes, silence hurts like hell when it comes from the loved one. I understand exactly what you mean. But there’s a higher level of understanding in this. Because after you allow that silence new answers will come. There’s only one condition in this: that the other one loves you back. If they love you back they will come back to you, no matteh how long or deep that silence needed to be.

it’s not that i LIKE the silence. I understand it. I don;t translate it through my selfish needs, I try to see it as it is, a pause. nd we all need a pause sometimes. A break. A moment to breath.
