"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Ode to the Eternal Pilgrim

Follow the path, young old soul,
Follow the path
Never fear, do not fear
I tell you, we will meet on the way.
I wonder if you know who you are, who I am…
You stopped to throw stones
Over my deep lake of tears
To see my soul spread in waves.
You stopped in thousands of stations
At midnight
Searching for the meaning of the existence in their eyes.
And what is left of them?
Again, struggle again, a bit
Until the next stop
There you will find the next word
The next missing word that could make you complete
You’ll find a piece of tranquility.
Keep everything inside
The vision of what has been
The shape of things to come
Keep all close to you, the begining and end
The Alfa and the Omega
All demons and angels
All struggle and despair …
At the end of the road are the answers for mysteries of thousands of years
The providential alchemic formula of perfection ..
At end of road you will feel everything from all perspectives
Will live all from each direction
Feel an infinity of things at once
Crushed in a moment, suspended in one second,
Never seen speck of time, prophetic and ethereal glimpse.
At the end of the road the bread will break
And you will eat not just one quarter, not a humble crumb, but the whole.
There will be light and truth …
We are moments, we are moods, we are pain, sweat and smile
We are followed by the memory of the Holy finger writing in the sand
We are the reflection of our sins, broken hearts
Broken bones in old bags
History of the past and fear of the unknown
We are wisdom that cannot be expressed and the stupidity in every heartbeat
We are not halves, nor quarters , We Are Not Whole
Shadows are we, spread in the sand
Traveling across the desert of dust
Passengers on a Long Journey
Dark from the dark
Sparks from the Great Light
Endlessly thirsty , till we get back to God.

    • Oh wow…. A moon? 🙂 What colours are you using? You are painting the most amazing moons… 🙂
Thank you. It is an old poem full of memories… 🙂
How do you feel tonight Benjamin?

      • Broken and like I should sleep, but I need to be a good dad and make dinner first then, sleep or paint depends. I’ll use many shades of blues and whites for the moon, maybe some green and gold undertones we’ll see.
        I hope that’s ok.

By the way, how does your family call you in short: Benjamin, Ben?
Don’t think of the tiredness. Be a good dad and make dinner, I know you are the greatest chef… 🙂 😉

      • 😀 😆 :lol:No, no, you are very good my dear, do not worry.
        What are you cooking? 😀

        November 16, 2012 at 01:12

      • Roast chicken in a brown butter sauce w/three cheese tortellini and some asparagus. Simple yet very tasty. I don’t rat mammals chicken and fish veggies only.
        Bon appetite.

        November 16, 2012 at 01:16

      • You are going to be good too and eat, isn’t it?
Sounds great. If you can stick to fish and veggies you will be stronger and healthier. They say that fasting(eating 100% vegetarian) regenerates the cells in our body.
        Bon appetite my dear.
I’m eating too, an apple. 😉

        November 16, 2012 at 01:21

      • An apple, red or green? I was raised vegetarian, no sugar, or meat when I was very young. But being raised by my irish grands they ate a ton of meat and potatoe. I don’t eat often usually only fruit and nuts during the day. And one meat at night. I have to finish the food, do you ever sleep? Lol 😉 I’ll check in later.
As always thank you for your kindness. It means a great deal to me.

        November 16, 2012 at 01:29

      • A red apple, of course…:D
Hehe, of course I sleep. 😆 If I’m off I stay late, if I work the next day I do sleep…
Now ruuuuuuuuuun before you burn the dinner… 😆 😆 Ela. 😀
