"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Old heart of mine

~ Old heart of mine rise and shine
Tired muscle, old fiber, dead bunch of dreams
Start again, gallop of all wild untamed horses
Open your eyes to see
Open your eyes and feel
Open your eyes and mirror the sky
The blue sky full of hope
The gray sky full of anger
Old mirror , open your eyes
It’s never too late, never too hard, nothing impossible
Shine, old mirror, tarnished mirror
Shine like a precious polished jewel ~

  1. So beautiful, it’s never to late for anything. Never limit what your heart desires.

    • What limits the spirit is the anger and fear. And I think we all have plenty of those… I had much less 2 years ago when I wrote this…

      • Do you have much anger and fear in your life these days? Im sorry I’d that is so. But I have to say that since my diagnosis I have much anger and fear, but I have also found a great deal of acceptance in the balance of life.

      • I perfectly know the feeling. I have my own share of anger, fear not too much. Finding our balance with this is part of our personal lesson in this life Benjamin. I must confess that I am the kind of “student” that solves problems in solitude. I know that God loves me a lot, He gave me only few problems to solve, few but huge …. 😆 😉 🙂
