A New Day, A Sigh
This was a normal morning. The same routine, the same rounds, the same emergencies, my same clients, the same medication, the same working against the clock…
Yet being with one of my clients I kept my breath for a moment as I heard on a compilation CD of hers a Romanian song: Puya, Vestul Salbatic/Wild West.
It’s amazing how we don’t think or don’t realize how much we miss home till we hear our language in the middle of a far away land, where we almost get lost and blended with the others… It’s enough to hear one song to feel the tears in your eyes and a sigh coming out of your chest.
