"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint ExupΓ©ry

Reverie

Eyes on this big eyed moon
I bathe in silence
Looking at you
My dreaming love.

Lost in a silver reverie
Only this moon remembers how I missed you
How many times I lost you in past lives
Dying in torments just to be born and get back to you.

Dripping away her blues from the sky
The moon smiles
And my soul shines
For you’re always here with me.

The moon is good at keeping secrets.

Beautiful poem and song. Thank you.

Did you write this one from your bath tub? Just curious.

    March 12, 2013 at 00:05

    • Oh no!!!πŸ˜†
I meant I bathe in light, not in my bath tub.πŸ˜€
Thank you for the comment dear Sassy. Yes, the moon sees many things in the dark, that is why it’s so good at keeping secrets…
      The song is just DIVINE…πŸ™‚

How did you get that first emoticon to “laugh” at me?

My friend Butterfly turned me on to this song. It is lovely.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:05

      • the laughing emoticon you can get if you type next to each other 3 things with no space in between:
        : lol :
        Try it.πŸ˜€πŸ˜†
        I use it quite often, it’s cute.πŸ™‚

        LOL!!!!

        Silliness.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:16

      • πŸ™‚ why silliness? We need to smile and laugh in life, Sassy. Otherwise we risk getting insane.πŸ™‚

        March 12, 2013 at 01:20

      • sassyfrassylassy

I like silliness. I live for silliness. I would die without it.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:29

      • Hmmmm… I am quite a serious person in real life. Silliness is something I don’t really think about. When you say silliness you think of what? Of joking? Of making fun?

        March 12, 2013 at 01:37

      • sassyfrassylassy

I joke and cut up. I like to make fun of people, but to their face and in a way that makes them laugh too. I don’t like mean spirited humor. I enjoy practical jokes and pranks, but not like tying peoples shoes together kind of pranks. I don’t know…I like being silly.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:42

      • πŸ™‚ That does not really sound silly to me. Sounds more like childish/playful, which is a positive thing.πŸ˜‰

        March 12, 2013 at 01:43

      • sassyfrassylassy

Yes, I am playful around those who know me well. Otherwise, I can be pretty quiet and reserved.

      • One of the saddest online friends I have here on WordPress (and a great talented soul) taught me this laughing emoticon. Sometimes the saddest people have the best of hearts. Only that they need to be reminded to smile/laugh themselves too.πŸ™‚

      • sassyfrassylassy

Some are pretty good at hiding sadness behind smiles and laughs.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:29

      • Yes, I know. Often a heartbreaking sadness….

        March 12, 2013 at 01:38

      • I wanted to ask you many times, what does Sassyfrassylassy mean? It’s just a random name or it has deeper meaning?

        March 12, 2013 at 01:10

      • sassyfrassylassy

It’s a line from my favorite Ween song, Mutilated Lips.

        Laughing lady living lover
        Ooo you sassy frassy lassy
Find me the skull of Haile Sellase, I
Give me shoes so I can tapsy
Tap all over this big world
Take my hand you ugly girl

        March 12, 2013 at 01:16

      • What genre of music is this? I never heard this before.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:18

      • sassyfrassylassy

Ween is part of the Austin City music scene. They are hard to classify. Mainly because they experiment with so many different sounds and often they don’t sound like the same band from song to song or album to album. I guess they fall into the genre of indie rock, because they are independent of the pop scene. I call them experimental. My favorite albums are Chocolate and Cheese and The Mollusk. Baby Bitch, Ocean Man, Waving my Dick in the Wind, Voodoo Lady, Johnny on the Spot are a few of my favorite songs, but that doesn’t even begin to cover it. I love the band.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:28

      • Interesting. I never heard of them.πŸ™‚
I am into rock and classical music. But more classic rock, not that much into indie.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:36

      • sassyfrassylassy

I am an indie rock kind of girl. I like lots of classic rock too. I love music period.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:39

      • Hehe… I love music…. and when I say love I mean LOVE… and when I say LOVE I mean LUV!!!!πŸ˜†

        March 12, 2013 at 01:42

      • sassyfrassylassy

Me too. I like to rock out with my cock out. Except I don’t have a cock.πŸ˜‰

        March 12, 2013 at 01:43

      • πŸ™‚ very sexual image, it does not fit with me as personality, I am exactly the opposite of it…
But I understand what you mean.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:45

      • sassyfrassylassy

It was a joke. Something an old friend used to say to me all the time. “Let’s go listen to some tunes and rock out with our cocks out.” Again, I don’t have a cock.πŸ˜†

        March 12, 2013 at 01:49

      • Well yes but you know, some people get offended if you mention the “c” word. Not everybody thinks the same, not everybody is open about sexuality that way.πŸ™‚

        March 12, 2013 at 01:51

      • sassyfrassylassy

Yes, this is true. I should probably not use that one so lightly. Sometimes I forget myself.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:52

      • You see, I am an open mind and I can hear anything without getting offended but others are not like me.πŸ™‚
The song you linked to me reminds me of “the Nightmare before Christmas” somehow… I don’t know why.πŸ™‚

        March 12, 2013 at 01:56

      • sassyfrassylassy

Some of the imagery is dark.

        March 12, 2013 at 01:58

      • That means you feel dark too if you like itπŸ™‚
I tend to be a bit dark as well, sometimes i write about sadness…

        March 12, 2013 at 02:00

      • sassyfrassylassy

I need to write more. I have been stuck journaling lately and that’s ok.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:04

      • writing does good for the soul, expressing our feelings sets us free. At least that’s how it makes me feel.πŸ™‚

        March 12, 2013 at 02:12

      • sassyfrassylassy

It’s been helping me to work through some difficult times. Writing is like learning to play a musical instrument or speak a new language. Practice makes it easier and easier to do. It’s not so much about being easy, but being able to do something you enjoy with ease.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:15

      • Yes, very true. But it’s also something that has to do with passion. Sometimes if feelings burst out of your mind and soul you can write naturally even without great experience.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:23

      • sassyfrassylassy

Yes, this is true. I have had some great stories spring out of me way back before I was writing regularly.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:25

      • πŸ™‚ Yes, it has happened to me too… It gives you a great feeling, isn’t it?

        March 12, 2013 at 02:26

      • sassyfrassylassy

Yes, it’s very inspiring. It feels magical.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:27

      • πŸ™‚ but if you like that feeling why you don’t try to write regularly? A post a day would do. It can inspire you for so much more.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:29

      • sassyfrassylassy

I try to post when I can. I wrote an essay on copyrighting just yesterday, but I posted it on FL. I don’t like to mix FL and WP, so I won’t be posting it here. Lately I have been writing more about day to day life stuff rather than stories or fantasies. The fantasies are still in my head though. I made need a separate blog for the fantasies. They are a little wild.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:31

      • πŸ™‚ If you feel strange about putting them in your blog, than another blog would be a solution.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:38

      • sassyfrassylassy

I do and maybe I will. Thank you, that is a good idea.

        March 12, 2013 at 02:40

      • I am happy to help anytime I can. Any advice, any idea, you can use anything from my blog. I might be a bit different as a soul than others, but that does not mean I cannot understand or support or help.
I am happy to hear you anytime you stop by here, this blog is like a sanctuary to me , so I try to make it the same for others.
        Much love to you, SassyπŸ™‚

Mine is a sanctuary as well. You are always welcome there too. Thank you for the encouragement. It does help.

        Love to you too.
