"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Sleepless nights
cradled in the sound of melted dew on your temples
and popping buds of daffodils that cannot wait for the sun to rise
restless like your heart, scattered like my mind
passionately madly alive
like the smile in you eyes and our kiss raw with love…
there’s no knife here,
it’s only us.

  1. I’ve not gone. I’m listening to the song!

    • Listen to the wonderful song, brother, that is why I posted it, so that you all take a moment and listen and remember or imagine or feel something…
This blog will have one day much more music and many more poems… it’s like building a giant puzzle laying each day few humble pieces. Maybe the pieces on their own are simple or have not much meaning or value, but when I’ll be gone this will be what I left behind. It’s not a masterpiece, it’s just a humble human life in the corner of this universe. Love and pain. Happiness and loss. Smile covering a bleeding heart. Passion and tears. No secrets, no face, maybe not even more hopes. Just the feelings of a nobody. 🙂

  5. Not “just the feelings of a nobody,” but rather the sheer lyrical genius of a somebody – a You!
