"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Shooting Star

I used to be so much born to die
And hell, yes,  I even did
Lost and found and abandoned millions of times
Blind child, lost sigh coming from another life.

I had no time for wishes in my past, so I died
To get born to you, LIFE,
And to abandon all the crap and broken dreams
Just to make space for you, LOVE.

No need to tell you how much I love you, for you know.
Just because. Or for I reside in your very heart.
Under a sky of hindered frozen stars YOU are my singular shooting star
Fallen, with your smile of a wish, on my soul and in my arms.

Gentle Reminder

this is no poem but a reminder
of a time when the world was kinder

of wasted care and hearts to tear
and cups full of despair

of rules to make for others to break
just for the sorrow’s sake

of broken trust and growing rust
and closed doors in the past

of flames killed fast, of curses cast.
of dead loves burried last.

this was no poem but a reminder
the time will flow and the world will be kinder

Dejected (A Duet Post)

neglected quantity of the day
passes off surreal
quiet soul
gliding on time’s breeze
she’ll fly away to a shelter
where wounds can heal
she’ll cover her eyes
with broken wings
knowing that she will fly higher

gliding on time’s breeze
an unheard soul
passes off unseen
to a shelter secluded
where none shall hear
cries of a wounded heart
she’ll cover her eyes
with broken wings
awaiting for the wind
to whisper her
“Beloved, it’s time”

she’ll rise
spread her wings
fly off
higher and higher
on a plane higher
tap the lone cloud with her feet
bounce in the glory of sunshine
flap her wings
squeak and babble in glee…
that’s the core of a bird’s spirit,
what’s yours?
