"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Tranquility / Liniste

Sliding from the dragonfly wings

to the back of the fish

in the flesh of the shell

the pearl of light

becomes tranquillity.

—————————–

Alunecand de pe aripile libelulei

pe spinarea pestelui

in carnea scoicii

perla de lumina

devine liniste.

  11. As always, beautiful. I tried to find the source of the text but kept spiralling deeper into meditation and yoga sites.

    April 8, 2012 at 13:51

    • This poem comes from my heart… I am not practicing yoga but I believe in prayer and inner peace…
It is one of the poems I wrote in a genuine moment of tranquility, so maybe that is the source…
I have nominated you for two awards John. Hope you will do me the honour of accepting them.
Thank you for stopping by, I am happy to see you, always.🙂

      April 8, 2012 at 20:56

      • I misinterpreted an earlier comment in which you said “the author remains unknown.” Knowing that you wrote the poem, I love that comment even more so! Aren’t we all unknown.

        April 8, 2012 at 22:04

      • Oh yes. great unknown people… but if each one of us would give his best and we would create a big puzzle, oh what a beautiful life it would be…
        Thank you so much John.🙂
