"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.."- Antoine de Saint Exupéry

I started my day as usual, checking all the orders, prices, deliveries, all the things I had missed the afternoon before.
My eyes turned towards her empty desk. So strange that she, the one keeping everyone terrorised, the ruthless boss, she was not there… But she survived, I thought.
I closed my eyes and saw again the movie of yesterday’s afternoon. She cutting her wrists in the bathroom. Me stumbling over her. My eyes meeting her unhappy eyes. And that deep feeling that in the middle of her lifetime crisis I saw for the first time a spark of humanity.
